Synopsis
The purple from Galmi, the onion of Niger, irrigates the West-African markets with its 400 000 tons of annual production. At Galmi, Salamatou waits for his marriage since two years. Pressed by the in-laws and the village gossip, his father, Yaro, decides: the marriage will take place at the harvest. Yaro knows that to honor this commitment he this time has to produce more and win more.
