Synopsis
Forced to leave Dakar at the end of the 1960s, the film director Samba Félix Ndiaye returns to Senegal after almost forty years of Parisian exile. Once the illusion of the spectacle offered, upon his arrival, by the plane flying over the peninsula, and the crossing of the Bay of Ngor, has passed, the rediscovery of his native village plunges Ndiaye into an unexpected reality, ultimately similar to the disastrous images of Africa presented in the media that he has always decried.
