Synopsis
In the garden of a villa facing the Mediterranean, a man works on the Arabic translation of the documents concerning Oscar Wilde's trial. In the evening summer light during the following nights, the trial's various protagonists introduce themselves to the translator. He portrays each of them in turn and brings to life the aesthetic and political issues that were at stake in the fight. This verbal jousting hence seems like the final work - ferocious and precious - of the Irish dandy.
