Synopsis
A terrible flood destroys the house of the family Ah, peasants in a small village in China. If life has been a constant fight for them, this disaster transformed their existence into nightmare. Fortunately, Ah Liang, his wife and their two children find shelter in the vacant hut of a neighbor. But they know that it can only be a temporary situation. They have to build a new house.
