Valvert is a psychiatric hospital in Marseille created in the middle of the seventies, with an open spirit and free circulation. The film, through an observation of the everyday life, draws up a portrait of the place by mixing conversations with nurses and scenes of the patients life. In an atmosphere determinedly taken away from the model asilaire, this circulation emphasizes various behavior habits of a common madness.
