Synopsis
A big cardboard box forgotten at the bottom of a cellar. Lots of rolls of 8 mm film. With rare indications of place and of date. Family films and images shot in about twenty psychiatric hospitals. Archives forgotten by Georges Daumézon, psychiatrist. Catherine Bernstein appropriated this soundless, polymorphic and incomplete equipment. From the meeting of these two film-makers was born Asylum.
