Thomas, fifty years old and a father, arrives by accident in the town where he grew up. While spending some time in silent contemplation at his mother's grave he feels faint and collapses. When he comes to, his body seems different and his mother's name is no longer engraved on the tombstone. Having returned forty years into the past and now an adolescent once again, he decides to "go home" to try to comprehend what drove his father to abandon them that year and to try to prevent this mysterious disappearance. But can we modify our past by reliving it again?
