Largo

Largo

A Feature film by Yves Legrain

Produced by Kanari Films

Release in France : 07/11/2007

    Synopsis

Largo follows the adventure of two authors searching for their character and offers a response to the question: how is a comic book developed?

The film's guiding thread is the creation of the fifteenth installment of the Largo Winch saga and takes us into the heart of the world of the "millionaire in blue jeans," accompanied by his creators, Jean Van Hamme and Philippe Francq. The preliminary drafts of the story, location hunting, design work, printing of the albums: so many stages that punctuate the adventure of creating Trois Yeux des Gardiens du Tao. Nearly two years of patient and painstaking work, from Brussels to the Calanques in Cassis, stopping off in Hong Kong and Saint Tropez, take us right there to the places where Largo Winch comes to life.
