Lyon at the end of the 1970s.

François, a police detective, learns that his brother, Gabriel, has been released from prison after serving a ten-year sentence for murder. The reunion between the cop and his older brother isn't easy, but each man is willing to put the past behind him. Gabriel tries to settle back into normal life and François bends over backwards to help him. But reality and old demons finally catch up with them. For both brothers, separated by their choices, but united by blood, the paths taken strangely seem to lead to the same dead end.
