Synopsis
During her increasingly frequent and dangerous sleepwalking bouts, little Sharon talks about a mysterious place: Silent Hill. Determined to get to grips with her daughter’s illness, Rose discovers that Silent Hill could well be a deserted town in Virginia. Against her husband’s advice, Rose decides to take Sharon there. When they enter this gloomy place, Sharon disappears. Rose tries to find her, but quickly realizes that there’s nothing normal about the town. Shrouded in fog, peopled with strange creatures, regularly invaded by a darkness that literally transforms everything it touches, little by little this other dimension reveals its terrifying secrets. Assisted by Cybil, a cop who has also strayed into this sinister world, Rose sets off in a frantic quest to wrench her daughter from the clutches of Silent Hill. Clues become evidence, allowing Rose to reveal the horrifying curse that seized hold of the town thirty years ago.
