gets a new look !
27 November 1947. The representatives of the 56 member countries of the UNO vote the separation of Palestine.
The same year, in New York, two friends both 27 years old, Bobby Goldman, a New York Jew, and Saïd Chahïn, an Arab from Jerusalem, live a carefree existence at the end of World War Two, fervently sharing the same ideas and values.
Shaken by the events that will soon inflame Jerusalem, Bobby and Saïd board a ship for the Holy Land.
The two friends don’t yet realize that their shared destiny has just taken a dramatic turn: brothers become enemies, for years to come they’ll tear each other apart just like their two worlds, two peoples, two religions, and two cultures.
This is the story of O Jerusalem, that of the creation of the State of Israel, the story of a conflict that still continues today.
