Synopsis
“Dear Wendy” tells the story of Dick, a young, lonely man who lives in Estherslope, humble mining town.
One day Dick stumbles across a small revolver. He’s strangely attracted to it, despite his pacifist convictions. With his new partner, he soon persuades the town’s other young outsiders to become members of a secret club that he baptizes “The Dandys.” It’s a club founded on armed pacifism. Even if they believe hard and fast in the most important rule for a Dandy (“Never draw your weapon”), they quickly find themselves in a difficult position, only to realize that rules are made to be broken.
