Synopsis
A man kidnaps a famous painter who has withdrawn from public life. As a ransom, he orders the painter to paint a work that the kidnapper will then sell to a gallery. While the painter is carrying out the order, neither he nor his kidnapper manage to keep everything hidden about themselves. Each tries to take advantage of the other's weaknesses, while being observed by a third character.
