Synopsis

Samuel finances his participation in a card game by stealing parts from a jeep. He cheats at cards, and has his hands broken as a consequence. Understandably unnerved by all this, Samuel murders an old woman. He hen becomes involved with passerby Francis, who is fresh from an affair with Anna.
