Synopsis

Welcome to “The World”. Here in this park on the outskirts of Peking, visitors can discover the world’s most famous monuments in a single day.
Tao, a young dancer, performs each day in shows in front of replicas of the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Piazza San Marco or Big Ben. She left the northern provinces some years ago with her boyfriend Taisheng, who is a security guard at the park.
At a crucial moment in their relationship, Taisheng is attracted to Qun, a young fashion designer.
