Synopsis
This is the story of Sonia, a young woman in her early twenties, who decides to leave her boyfriend and family in Saint Petersburg, without looking back.
Sonia is under the illusion that a new life will be offered to her; instead she will experience the hell of those for whom life seems to have nothing to offer.
Her long, hard journey across Europe leads through Germany, then Italy, and ends up at the extreme opposite, Portugal. Sonia will endure all the misery and degradation engendered by the trafficking and exploitation of the weakest.
This is a story of another Europe...
