At the end of the sixties, two immigrant families become unlikely neighbors in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere in Israel. One family is from Morocco, the other from India. Apart from the dream of a new life, they have nothing in common. Obliged to live side by side, they flex their muscles and try to assert their identity. Both cling to their customs and try to impose their culture on the other. Only Sara and Nicole reach out to each other and become friends, despite the conflict between their respective families. Their youth and desire for freedom overcome all prejudice. In this village, the road to harmony shapes up to be joyfully torturous and full of surprises…
