Synopsis
A man has just been fired. He takes the subway, just the way he always does to get to work. But now that he's been dumped from his job, and therefore rejected by society of which the subway is a symbol, he no longer fits in with the world around him. Each passenger on the subway makes him more aware of his sense of unease. He cracks up. It's the first day in the life of a homeless person.
