At home with the RozesDirected by Francis Palluau Produced by Telema Genres : Fiction - Runtime : 1 h 26 min French release : 02/04/2003 Production year : 2002
DirectorActorsSynopsisTwo dangerous criminals with nothing left to lose escape while being transferred from one prison to another. Exhausted and hunted by the police, they find a hideout in a lovely stone cottage inhabited by the lovely Rozes family. Too bad about the silver anniversary the Rozes were going to celebrate that night. Every one of them, parents and teenagers alike, is taken hostage while the gangsters bide their time. The only thing is that the gangsters turn out to be less dangerous than we suspect and the family a lot less kind than they first appeared. In fact, they are revealed to be less and less charming and increasingly dangerous, ready to do anything. Who hasn’t been tempted to give into their darkest desires?
Caught in a giddy spiral and intoxicated by danger, the Rozes slowly take advantage of this extreme situation. When no one is responsible any longer, anything goes. In less than twenty-four hours, this very friendly family will succumb, with increasing delight, to their basest instincts. Greed, cynicism, betrayal, murder and lechery rise to the fore.
The two prisoners are revealed to be nothing but dumb dreamers who end up being the real hostages. They desperately try to get the situation under control and bring everyone to their senses.
