When robbing a defenseless young woman of her handbag, Swan inadvertently carries out a noble act and a mysterious object starts to glow above his head.
Determined to get rid of this wretched halo, Raph and Swan knock themselves out trying to be rotten, but prostitutes, robbery, punch ups do no good.
Necessity makes the thief. Raph convinces his sidekick to hawk his holy glow to believers and soon finds a sponsor in the neighborhood’s top hood. However, while Raph already pictures himself rich and leading the high life by exploiting his buddy’s saintliness, Swan discovers love with Camilla.
This makes a true man of Swan and he subsequently loses his halo. But the show must go on and Raph must invent a strategy that keeps people believing in the Saint.
