Since the death of her husband she’s been raising her teenage daughter, Salma, alone.

A combination of circumstances and Lilia’s desire to protect her wayward daughter, lead her to spend an evening in a cabaret. A whole new world, appealing and disturbing, opens before Lilia. A nighttime world full of dancing and pleasure.
She can’t resist the desire to return and soon becomes one of the cabaret’s dancers. Dancing liberates desires that duty and devotion had long since buried.
Life becomes a difficult balancing act between being the perfect mother that she no longer is and the woman of the night that she’s yet to truly become.
