Synopsis In Tangiers, Driss makes a hand-to-mouth living as a cab driver in his dented wreck of a car that serves as both taxi and home. He comes across Fouad, a nasty, self-seeking old man who owns a beach café. Driss strikes up a friendship with this cantankerous misanthrope who could be his father. Despite his friends’ warnings, Driss tries to win the old man’s affections, offering him gifts and helping him out.
