Camille, the company’s lead actress, also happens to be its director’s girlfriend. She is the only French member of the troupe. It is the first time she has been back to Paris since dramatically leaving Pierre, the man she was then living with, three years ago.
She secretly dreads meeting up with him again, and for good reason. Yet meet him she does.
Ugo, the company director, also has his secret. This visit to Paris is an opportunity for him to verify the existence of an unpublished Goldoni manuscript – and to be the person who reveals it to the world. In the process of searching for it he encounters an unsettlingly attractive young woman, Dominique, more familiarly known as Do.
