Synopsis
Aurélien is blind and lives alone in the Landes forest. Since he can't do his housework, he hires Eneida, a youg Portuguese girl who doesn't speak French. Unable to communicate, the lonely man, embittered by his handicap, and the young immigrant display only hostility towards each other. Yet, in the silence of the wind and the ocean, they painfully tame their differences.
