Synopsis
In a tiny village lost on the banks of the Yukon in Alaska, the descendants of the gold rush pioneers and the Athapascans indians try to proclaim their independence as best they can. The former continue to work the gold seams that are no longer profitable due to environmental protection laws. The latter maintain traditional subsistence activities while living off social benefit.
