Synopsis Dean Corso's job is ultra-confidential, requires finesse, enormous culture, nerves of steel and no scruples. A successful hunter of rare books for rich collectors, he is hired by Boris Balkan, an eminent bibliophile with a passion for demonology, to track down the only two other copies of a legendary manual of satanic invocations, "The Eight Doors of the Kingdom of Shadows." The contract: compare them with the one in Balkan's possession, reputed to be the only one of its kind, and prove the authenticity of all three. Festival selections |
