Charité Biz’ness is an unpretentious, light-hearted, picturesque movie with a very cartoonish spirit. I make films for the audience, not for the critics and Sam, the character I play, is a cool guy, a smart, streetwise downtown dandy.

In my career, I’ve always tried to do one thing: make people laugh. Massipu is a ridiculous but touching character. I work by intuition, mostly. For instance, when I create a character for my “Small Ads”, I’ve no idea how he’s going to behave. But as soon as I’m in costume and made up, his voice and behavior come to me.
