A mother seduces her daughter's lover. Her husband, thus abandoned, sinks into despair. The older daughter, author of a thesis on melancholy, seduces a famous novelist but her younger sister steals her lover. The writer feels abandoned by the whole of humanity...

"(...) It takes imagination to survive love" says Forcier. And he proves it by constructing "A Wind From Wyoming" around two totally opposing characters. However, thanks to the combination of this sweet little bitch - played by the magnificent Sarah-Jeanne Salvy - and the emotional juggler - François Cluzet, brilliantly irrational - hope and purity come to the fore, the sole survivors in this dull and diseased world of artificial human relationships. (...) Waltzing with ease from unbelievable situations to coruscating dialogue ( the charm of the Quebec accent !), moving without a blink from the comic to the tragic, Frocier nevertheless manages to bring a breath of contagious happiness to the screen."
(Thierry Valletoux - Studio Magazine)
