Producer Ariel Zeïtoun took up directing in 1984. His first film, “Souvenirs, souvenirs” was a musical comedy/drama. He followed this with “Saxo” (1987), “Le Nombril du monde” (1993) and two comedies, “Une Femme très très très amoureuse” and “XXL” in 1997. Ariel Zeïtoun has produced many films by directors such as Francis Girod, Alexandre Arcady, Jean-Michel Ribbes (through his company Partner's Production), as well as "L'Extra-terrestre" by Didier Bourdon (with Ajoz Films, the product of the merger between Partner's Production and Ajoz Films). In 2001, Zeïtoun returned to the director's chair with "Yamakasi."
