After studying with Tania Balachova for a year, Martin Lamotte went to see the legendary comedian, Coluche, and helped him finish the work on his café-theatre, “Le Vrai Chic Parisien”. Coluche hired him and he never looked back. He played at the “Café de la Gare” with Romain Bouteille. Three years later he set up his own café-theatre, “La Veuve Pichard”, and wrote, acted and directed shows with his fellow comedians: Anémone, Christine Dejoux, Gérard Lanvin, Roland Giraud, Jacques Delaporte and all the rest of them. He has appeared in over 50 hit movies and divides his comedy-making energy between the cinema and the stage. After scripting many TV and feature films, he makes his directorial debut with “Two Timer”.
