BiographyThe young Isabelle Carré studies ballet and theatre and in 1998 makes her first appearance in Mama, There is a Man in your Bed by Coline Serreau then in La Reine blanche by Jean-Loup Hubert. In 1992 she wins her first nomination to a Cesar award thanks to Set Fare by Christian Vincent. At the same time, she manages a flourishing theatrical career and is awarded with the Romy Schneider Prize in 1997 for The Banned Woman by Philippe Harel. From then on, she is much present on screen. Her moving performance in Beautiful Memories by Zabou Breitman wins her the Best Actress Cesar Award. Talented French actress, she recently works with Noémie Lvosky (Feelings), Bertrand Tavernier (Holy Lola), Cédric Kahn (L’Avion). Lately, Anne Fontaine offers Isabelle Carré her first dramatic role in In His Hands.
