Edouard Baer has long been interested in all areas of the performing arts. Radio host (La Grosse boule on Radio Nova) from 1993 to 1997, then scriptwriter and host of a monthly television program on Canal + until 1999, he also wrote, directed and acted in a play Le Goût de la hiérarchie in 1997.
In the cinema, he’s worked as actor (The Sister Brothers by Frédéric Jardin, Rien sur Robert by Pascal Bonitzer, Dieu est grand, je suis toute petite by Pascale Bailly and La Chambre des magiciennes by Claude Miller) and screenwriter (The Sister Brothers).
In 1999, he stepped behind the camera to direct La Bostella his first feature film that he co-wrote with Fabrice Roger-Lacan.
In 2005, he stars alongside Monica Belluci, Bernard Campan and Gérard Depardieu in How Much Do You Love Me? By Bertrand Blier.
