Complete filmography

Biography

After having made several short films, for his first feature, "A Strange Place to Meet" (1988), François Dupeyron cast two veritable stars of French cinema, Catherine Deneuve and Gérard Depardieu. In 1991, he made "A Beating Heart," and then in 1994 "The Machine," again with Gérard Depardieu. His latest film "What's Life?" won Best Film and Best Actor (Jacques Dufilho) Awards at the 1999 San Sebastian Film Festival. Dupeyron is also the screenwriter of Gérard Depardieu's "The Bridge" and co-screenwriter with Jacques Fieschi of Nicole Garcia's "Place Vendôme."
