Biography

Alain Tasma makes his debuts as first assistant director on The Woman Next Door by François Truffaut (1981), then on Cheaters by Barbet Schroeder in 1984. After his short Jours de vagues in 1988, Alain Tasma directs many TV films such as Rastignac ou les ambitieux or the noticed TV series A cran (2003). He then writes the screenplay of Pascale Bailly’s movie God Is Great, I’m Not in 2001.
In 2004, Alain Tasma writes and directs his first feature film, October 17, 1961.
