Biography

Loving cinema and writing, Marc Esposito takes part to the creation of Première Magazine in 1976 and becomes its Chief Editor. Ten years later, he leaves Première and creates Studio Magazine. In parallel to his career of journalist, he directs his first short in 1989, L'Homme qui pleurait tous les matins, as well as a documentary, tribute to his friend Patrick Dewaere, in competition in Cannes 1992. One year later, Marc Esposito leaves Studio to dedicate himself to the creation of short video films on Bertrand Blier and Julien Clerc.
He then starts writing: he is the author of the novel All The Beauty of The World and co-writes Steve Suissa’ L’Envol (1998). In 2002, he directs his first feature film, Frenchmen, a choral film about four fathers overwhelmed by complex sentimental life. The film is a great success that encourages him to direct his second feature. He decides then to direct the adaptation of his own novel All The Beauty of The World with Zoé Felix and Marc Lavoine in the main roles.
