Complete filmography
BiographyPatrick Sébastien began his career in television at the age of 21, thanks to support from Jacques Gauthier, who gave him the chance of participating in the program "La Main au panier," as an impersonator. Author and actor of his own sketches, Patrick Sébastien first achieved success in 1987 during a stint at the Olympia and at the Paris Casino. He then began hosting TV entertainment programs, first on the television channel La Cinq ("Coup de pouce," "Farandole," from September 1987 to January 1998), then on TF1, with the successful shows "Sébastien c'est fou" (1988 through 1992) and "Le Grand Bluff." In 1994, he presented three shows a month ("Super nanas," "Sébastien chez vous" and "Carnavalissimo"). After three episodes of the show "Osons" in 1995, Sébastien decided to retire from working as a TV host, in order to launch into production and sport (becoming President of the Brive Rugby Club). He nevertheless returned to the small screen in 1996, this time for the channel France 2, hosting "Etonnant et drôle," "Le Cœur au show" and "Fiesta." In 1999, Patrick Sébastien directed his first feature film, "T'aime." The film, dubbed a "true to life fable," in which Sébastien plays a supporting role, was released in France on April 26, 2000. |
