Complete filmography

Biography

After studying music and winning top prizes for his compositions, orchestration and conducting, Philippe Haïm began to compose music for films (including ''The Bait'' by Bertrand Tavernier) and the stage. From 1995 onwards (from the age of 28) he devoted himself entirely to film directing, making his first 35mm film, ''Descente," a 10-minute fantastic comedy screened at over thirty French film festivals (including Fantastica, Metz, Nevers and Paris) and international festivals (including Cork, Chicago, New York, Sarasota, Brussels, Sao Paolo, Bilbao and London). The film was included in the ''Certains l'aiment court 3'' fantastic film program released in cinemas in June 1997. In 1996/97, Philippe Haïm directed ''Barracuda," his first feature film.
