Biography

Cédric Kahn's first film, "Railway Bar" (1992), was selected for the Venice Film Festival and his second, "Too Much Happiness" (1994), won both the Jean Vigo Prize and the Cannes International Film Festival Youth Jury Prize. In addition to scripting and directing his own films, Cédric Kahn has also co-authored films for Laurence Ferreira Barbosa (“Normal People Are Nothing Special”) and Brigitte Roüan (“Overseas”). In 1996, he directed "Culpabilité Zéro," a TV drama for the French/German cultural channel, Arte, before directing “My Heroine,” his third feature film, in 1998. It was selected for the 1998 Venice Film Festival and awarded the Louis Delluc Prize. In March this year, Kahn started shooting his new film, "Kurt," about the life of the serial killer Roberto Succo.
