Our Markets and Surveys team works in close collaboration with distributors of your films in international markets. Each department member is specialized in particular territories, and tracks developments in international markets with particular focus on the performance of French films from the time of their commercial release to their broadcast on television.

Data gathered by the Markets and Surveys Department is included in our website’s International Film Statistics and TV Broadcast Information section (showing details of film releases abroad, international results for French films, TV broadcasts, directories of movie professionals, and so on).

The Markets and Surveys team participates at the major international film markets (such as Berlin, AFM, Cannes, and Hong Kong) alongside sales agents, and monitor events dedicated to French cinema held in all countries of their specialization.

The department also processes applications for financial support from actors and directors traveling to accompany the commercial release of films, as well as contributing to travel expenses for foreign journalists visiting Paris to interview talent who are are unable to travel abroad. Unifrance thus facilitates the organization of around 100 preview screenings per year, and 150 trips made by actors and directors.
