The team at the Festival and Talent Relations office maintains close contact with the directors of the major international film festivals (numbering around 40), whom they receive in Paris to view French films in uniFrance’s screening theater. This department plays a mediation role between French film rights holders, producers and exporters, and film festival directors. Once festival line-ups are finalized, the department coordinates directors’ travel arrangements to these festivals, and assists them to accompany the release of their films abroad.
For "Category A" film festivals, uniFrance provides a fixed-sum contribution to the subtitling of French films in competition, and appoints local press attachés at these events.
