Unifrance organizes events dedicated to French cinema, including the Rendez-vous with French Cinema events in Paris and London, the Budapest French Film Festival in Hungary, the Yokohama French Film Festival in Japan, the Rendez-vous with French Cinema in New York, the Siberia French Film Festival in Russia, the Panorama of French Cinema in China, the Locarno International Film Festival, and the Franco-Mexican Film Festival, among others. At these events, the association's three key promotional objectives – interaction with film buyers, with the media, and with the public – are combined in one place and in a limited time-frame.

Unifrance also organizes French film festivals with support from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, such as in Athens, Tel Aviv, Richmond (USA), and Prague.
