Twice a year, Unifrance's Short Film Department selects 7 to 8 short films considered to merit wider exposure for release on DVD format. Selections are made on the basis of films that have recently received Unifrance subtitling grants (automatic or selective grants).

Each compilation DVD is released in 800 copies to coincide with a major industry event in France or abroad, with copies send to Unifrance contacts (festivals, film buyers, and distributors).
