French films Feature films: Feature films included in our database are those which have received approval from the Centre National de la Cinématographie (CNC), and include 100% French productions, majority-French and minority-French co-productions. To notify us of your feature films (in pre-production, production, or post-production stage), please contact: nicole.fournier@unifrance.org Short Films: Short films included in our database are French films (100% French productions or majority-French and minority-French co-productions) which have been granted a “visa d'exploitation” (commercial certificate) from the Centre National de la Cinématographie (CNC), as well as all other short films not holding a “visa d'exploitation” which are selected at uniFrance-supported events. Films produced by G.R.E.C. (Groupe de Recherches et d’Essais Cinématographiques) are also included in this database, as well as all films by Film School students. To notify us of your short films, please contact: christine.gendre@unifrance.org Statistics and information sources Comprehensive results for all French films, updated weekly, are available online to uniFrance members holding access codes. Results indicated for feature films relate to theater admissions and box office results registered in territories outside France. These figures therefore do not include receipts generated from sales by French exporters and/or producers. While these results do not claim to be comprehensive, uniFrance’s performance charts nonetheless track results in over 50 countries, representing 95% of the global market. uniFrance selects the most reliable sources in each country, including statistics providers, official organizations, our own offices abroad, and distributors themselves. uniFrance also tracks the performance of French films on television channels in 30 countries (240 channels). Unlike in previous years, uniFrance no longer monitors audience figures for French films, and no longer provides studies of individual countries, now focusing on producing studies covering geographic zones using gross figures, based on "uncertified" broadcasts.
